Toby-go-nuts has a lot in common with Jim Henson, exploring philosophical concepts like duality. Not that that's anything new, but everyone puts their own spin on it. In Ralsei, we see the positive and negative aspects of "order." In Susie, we see the positive and negative aspects of "chaos." Plus, Toby takes quasi-Taoist ideas and flips the script, depicting yin as orderly and male while depicting yang as chaotic and female. So I'm guessing he's not a traditional Taoist. But then, neither is George Lucas, and he also incorporates some Taoist ideas into his work. Why's is spelled with a "T" if it's pronounced with a "D?" On a tangentially related note, ever see 'THX-1138'?
