why did my octoling turn out so fucking ugly? she's the only one i've drawn before 😭

This is a gift thing for 2 colleg friends as they're the ones I hang out with the most. The designs are based on our ingame models but also what we'd wear IRL. For convenience and privacy, I'll refer to the green Octoling as C and the orange Inkling as M.

The guy in the middle left for a different colleg and had his last day today so I worked on this practically all week. Good luck out there, man ^^

You can't really see it past the pride flags but the blurred background is based on each person's main Splatoon game. We've all played 2 but only I started with Spl1 and M only has Spl2. I had planned to have a version where the outfits reflected the game's respective agent but C would've preferred Agent 4's gear so it wouldn't make sense.

"Are you aroace?" Not to my knowledge. The flags position relates to each person: M is aroace, I'm trans and C is both.

fun fact: our ink colors are meant to reflect each person's favourite color. m doesn't have a favourite color tho (and can't remember his inkling's eye color) so i just went with orange to go with green and purple.
