I know I seem rather chipper most of the time, and I certainly try to be, but lately there's just been a lot of doubt and uncertainty that's been clouding my mind. I'm still not completely over the incident that occured a bit over a year ago. It's hard to even believe it was over a year ago, it still stings like it happened recently. That on top of everything else that's been on my mind regarding an uncertain future. There's a lot of negativity in the world right now and it's sad to see. I miss when times were a simpler and more peaceful, when I could really be at ease and happy. I have happy moments, but bad thoughts eventually catch up. I try my best to just cast away all that doubt, and often can stand up to be confident in the face of adversity, but sometimes it's hard, you know? I'm happy I've got the ability to solve the problems of others, the power to improve the lives of others, but I wonder when I'll be able to help myself, when I can really be happy again. Perhaps one day it'll come.
