Yeah... more characters of mine. Cherkal and his horse,Pheda, shown here are from a very introspective story of mine that I've tried to write a few times. It's very simple but the intent is to be powerful. In the story, Cherkal has lost his wife to a disease. Incapable of dealing with his grief and getting on with the common life, Cherkal abandoned his tribe and cast himself to the wilds. Wandering and in self-imposed exile, Cherkal grieves alone until stumbling upon the ancient ruins of a civilization of his people from long, long ago. Within the city Cherkal learns much about his people's long lost past and, by some means which I haven't really decided upon yet, comes to terms with his pain.

Upbeat it is not. =) I hope you enjoy the image nonetheless.
