It wasn't unlike poor Fritz to have a lot of nightmares in his childhood. His best friend Rocko the crocodile was weighted and would help his anxiety a lot, but there was only so much your favourite stuffed toy could do. What he really needed was someone to comfort him as he should’ve had growing up. His nightmares continued into adulthood, occasionally still wetting the bed even then and needing pull ups until he was an older teenager. He always felt great shame for it but ultimately accepted his situation. There were worse things to worry about.

This was just something fairly rough I wanted to get out for Fritz’ age progression through the years! Of all my characters he has the most stories written and lore behind him. I’ve wanted to focus on his upbringing and childhood which I haven’t touched on as much as his adult years. Partly some things based upon myself such as the bedwetting and chronic mental illness in my teen years, although Fritz had a far rougher childhood than I did! Mine was only rough 14 onwards. He makes a great vent character for myself and although I probably won’t draw much of him younger from these pieces I’ve made, it’s been nice to make the odd one or two! Most of my age regression art is comforting and wholesome, based on my age regression now. But now and then I think it’s good to express some venty feelings through little art too!
