This piece is an expression of my sorrow of the past 6 years. A lamentation, if you will.

Ever since 2019, FurAffinity has brought me nothing but heartaches and depression. Every time I log in, I'm reminded of the things I've lost and the friendships that could have been. Some of you may ask, "If it hurts you that much, why do you still use it?" The answer to that is: Because the majority of furry artists are here. If it weren't for that, I would have left years ago. But because they all pool here, I have no choice. I'd be practically invisible anywhere else.

But posting here is basically like living in a haunted house, and the ghosts of my past misery haunt me every single night. Will I ever find peace from the breaking of my heart? Will anyone miss me when I'm gone? Will anyone even stick up for me and try to mend those burned bridges?

I don't know. But, it is a burden I must carry through my life.
