It's forteen pounds to a stone so he's about 132 pound in weight now :)

Nope - had him castrated. Signed a contract with the rescue I got him from to promise not to breed him as there are already far too many Akitas in the UK needing rehoming.

Plucky you'll get big 'kita cuddles. He'll jump up and get his paws on your shoulders and lick your face - that's normally how he greets people for the first time if you're male. He doesn't jump at females.

Doggy beer sounds great! I wonder if he'll like it :D

Still makes me chuckle when he decides he's bored of standing up. He doesn't so much sit down as just surrender to gravity. You can feel it as much as hear it! Also, he has fearsome alarm clock capabilities.
