HTTYD: River Watching
An illustration that came about for two reasons: I had a new monitor to break in in terms of eye adjustment/coloring, and it had been 5ever since I'd drawn the Bois. (Realistically: about 3 months. Still too long.) Always sort of wished we saw more serpent-type creatures. Ofc RTTE gave us a lotta awesome oceanic dragons, and I loved them, especially the sea shocker. Love drawing Hiccup and Toothless exploring their worlddd.

Toothy looks hungry!
This drawing looks beautiful!
I do like how you've designed Toothless's paws, as they should've looked to begin with.
(I never got behind the elephant foot and rubber claw design that was adopted for nearly all the dragons, it just looked lazy to me)

He does XD A potential tagline was 'Bud, I don't think that one will be cool with you making it a snack >>;'
also thanks! Yeah, I sorta try to mix komodo/tortoise with Toothy's og design for those shapes. I want him to have weight when he stands haha. I love Cloudjumper's claws, but yeah I agree, sometimes the dragons looked off. (Hilariously, the Bewilderbeast's paws look a lot like my bunny's front paws, it's so funny to me. Minus the fur ofc.)
