A few days later, Nicole texts you about a party Zoe is having tonight, asking if you’d like to come as her date. You immediately say yes and ask what kind of party it is, and where? She says that it is at Zoe’s apartment, which is a fancy penthouse in the downtown area. Very formal, there will be lots of fancy people and suits. She mentions that she was going to go with Sujitra, but they got sick. Something about eating sketchy seafood. You say that’s totally ok, and you can find some nice clothes to wear. You also add in that you hope Sujitra feels better soon, and Nicole says thanks. Arriving at the downtown skyscraper, you leave your car with a valet, and they show you to an elevator. Zoe’s place is at the top floor, a small mansion on the building’s roof. You realize quickly that everyone at the party is obscenely rich and dressed much nicer than you. Pardoning yourself and politely pushing your way past a few of the other guests, you see Nicole standing in a corner. Her hair is cut short and she is wearing a strapless red dress that hugs her waist, while lifting a champagne glass with her middle foot. A few businessmen are trying to chat with her, but as soon as she spots you, she excuses herself to carefully walk over to you. “Guh, I’m so glad you came. Zoe had to take a call and I don’t know anyone else here!” You can tell she’s uncomfortable with this posture and offer hold the drink for her. “Yes, please.” Nicole makes a little ‘oww’ as she stretches her middle leg back down to the ground. You say she looks stunning and Nicole leans closer to you. “Y-you think so? Zoe picked it out for me.” She nudges her hips and you can see that the sides of the dress have slipped down slightly. You ask if she needs you to adjust it for her and she nods, turning to let you fix it. “Thanks. Blug, I think I need a drink too.” You offer the champagne and Nicole tips her chin up with her mouth open for you to help her. You carefully hold the glass to her cherry lips and let her sip it, a few drops falling onto the ground between you. You ask if she’d like to get some fresh air with you outside. “That sounds nice.” She follows you to the apartment’s patio, with a glass pool that hangs over the edge of the night sky. There is a cool breeze, and Nicole watches the moon with you, softly rubbing her thigh against your side. “Hey, um. You know, Zoe has an extra room here for me. So, like, after the party, do you maybe want to stay the night?”
