Ashes to Dust --- The Slime Prophet
Another design I finished the weekend prior alongside the one of Avariex, this being of my friend's character -- The Slime Prophet. This also marks me going three-for-three with paintings for my friends I've known since middle school and still talk to even after finishing college. Took me forever, but I'm pleased to be finished with it. In terms of design, my friend gave me a lot of creative freedom with this design, and he got quite the glow-up from his initial design I did back in Curse of Strahd. He is a plasmoid from an eldritch, living planet, so he wears gold accessories as it never corrodes.
Far beyond the reaches of mortal men and monsters lay a planet of rust, the agonizing body of a being beyond comprehension. Burning copper skies coat it in a sickly green, while shards of metal pierce its body, being home to blood of the cosmos. In time it create a being, slowly festering into a plasmoid. This plasmoid was ripped from the world, cast aside from imperfections. This body would slowly become its own, known as the Slime Prophet, who would start a cult to madmen and degenerates alike in a way to gain and hone his eldritch powers. Yet, he lacked an identity, and would desperately search to find meaning where he feared no lied.

Again, my thanks! I appreciate the insight and comments from the last post and happy you like this one as well. I was a bit worried about trying to make the chest and head look transparent to show off the bones, but I think it worked out alright. Now I'm just waiting to meet up with my friend I made this for.
