OYrn's Tale First PT Session
This segment occurs well after the session with Ruff in post-op with OYrn in the BTTRR tube. OYrn's 'repairs' have been completed and the otter has been decanted from that tube at last. He's been fitted with his new prosthetics and the therapists have finally deemed him capable of attending his first supervised physical therapy session. Ruff has been scheduled for the same session, as he needs to learn to use his new prosthetic replacement for his hand.
However, not all is going as smoothly as it should. It seems one of those in charge of Ruff and OYrn's treatment has a 'thing' against hybrids, and is injecting his prejudices into their treatment.
Once again, this segment occurs well in advance of the commissioning ceremony and concludes the hijacking action segment.

Wuff's been working to try to bring more personality and character development to the segments. Baby steps so far, but sounds like things are headed the right direction.

*grins* Looked like Ruff was ready to do some "boppin'" , or worse, when he found out how badly his friend had been mistreated. Poor wolf didn't even realize the hook he'd been given wasn't standard delivery for a missing hand, either.
Little bit of a spoiler -- wuff's working on some follow-on segments to this. Naughty Kyle is going to take the Admiral's direction to heart, and indulge in a bit of revenge via "malicious compliance". He's going to set up OYrn and Ruff with the "best of the best, SIr" replacements there is -- Even if they aren't fully tested, are still in "beta" mode, or otherwise not ready for use on any but test subjects. Oh, they're going to be plenty fancy! But, there are very likely to be some shortfalls and quirks, that OYrn and Ruff are going to need to deal with.
