First reference sheet made in Procreate. I'll admit the quality is a little off (as to be expected when learning a new program), but I feel like using this has allowed a lot more flexibility with the way characters are drawn, and may lead more unique characters moving forward.

Once again, any advice and critiques are welcome.

Shadeflower is as shy as she is poetic. While she prefers to keep to herself, she looks for the beauty and good in everything. Her imaginative and poetic mind allows her to see things through a more romanticized, but more optimistic view. Very rarely is she quick to judge others, even if they're a total clash to her normal personality. Rather, she believes that everyone has their own path in life, and it must be respected as long as they're not hurting others.

Shadeflower grew up with a very supportive family, even being quick to accept her when she came out as trans. However, the same can't be said for when she went to school. Frequently the target of bullying and harassment, Shadeflower pushed herself to prove how capable she was in school. While this paid off for her, it also caused her to push herself away from others, even unintentionally, eventually developing introverted tendencies. Now, she spends her days in college, an environment much more welcoming of queer students, and aiming for a degree in creative writing.

While greatly values her alone time, she also values her time with others as they come up. She's very empathetic towards others, making it easy for her to connect and understand others. Her intuitive mind allows her to understand how others feel, and how they'll act. And her creative writing skills make her a master in the world of emotional intelligence. However, her introverted ways are a double edged sword. It doesn't take much for her to want to retreat back into her comfort zone, back to her home and away from the potential judgements of others, even causing her to lash out with the fear becomes too much for her to handle. Even so, those with the gentle soul to give her the tenderness and understanding she deserves, they'll get alone just fine.

What she would really love to do though, is dance.
