I had ~15-30 minutes before a meeting at work so I drew on some textured water color paper with pastels.
This version is in scraps due to the cameraphone issue, tho I may consider posting it real just because it's technically complete?
The larger highlight on the bottle came from the paper I was drawing on. The smaller one to the right is either a flourescent light or the window to the outside (it was heavily distorted by the shape of the bottle).
Paper rubbed w/ white pastel afterward to try to cut down on smudging. Still no corrections applied to any lines other then a faint sharpening of some of the edges when doing the whitewash.

Ah, thanks for that. I tried doing this one only by colors, no pencils, no reference grids. You wouldn't know it at first but I'd say that bottle actually got umm... a good third shorter on paper than reality would dictate. [They make 1L mexicoke now! <3]
Either way tho, goal's always to just do something new. I'd never tried pastels before, and before that I'd never tried water color, so hey! :D
