Personally wanted to hold off posting this but I think it works too well lore-wise with the last piece XD.

Three days had passed since the pairs incident with the Tigerbane during their 'not a date' night out and Felix reverted to his usual human shape (amidst alot of fur shedding). The pair got him checked out a local clinic before taking a few jobs in town, some manual work and bit of restocking of supplies to prepare for their next trip to another town. The reason for this was to keep out of their pursuers grasp, as they had only escaped a month ago after dealing a blow to their area of slave-trading and experiments thanks to Marihea and Felix's intervention during that time (wrong place at the wrong time). Other than that the pairs lives seemed to be a bit more 'normal', well... as normal as two different people sharing the same room can be. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred during the week after his reversion.

However, Marihea did come to understand slowly that the 'not a date' night meant alot more to her than she let on. She started to become more...territorial around him which Felix had called her out on a few occasions.... Especially during one occasion at the local guild...

"Marihea you know you didn't have to draw attention to ourselves.." chastised Felix as they arrived at their lodging. "So what? Am I to just let some randomer belittle you because of how well we worked together? You need to bite back Felix" rebuked Marihea baring her fangs, tail bristled. Felix slammed his fist against the nearby wall, "It's not that simple Marihea! You have that natural strength and talent! If I so much as try anything I risk those around me, I won't have another incident that happened a year ago I just won't! That time...I met you four months ago I didn't have anything else to live for...death was nothing compared to revenge for what that man had done..." replied Felix gritting his teeth.

Marihea remembered well that day...the two of them...two strangers on that cliff... that platoon and the 'Necroshroud'...that man who caused so much misery and had at that time cursed her. Felix unreleased what could've been described as a primeval force that no person should've been able to contain... (More on that another time)

Marihea came up behind him and whispered gently into his ear, "don't be afraid to release some of that power you have, I'll help keep you under control as I brought you back once before. You won't cause another disaster while I'm here with you" before giving him a lick on his face before she wandered off to the bathroom. Felix let a deep sigh escape his lips as he stared out at the window where a noontime bustling country plaza greeted him. "What did I ever do to experience such sights...even travelling four months with someone I never met wasn't on my agenda" he muttered.

"Felix are you feeling any better?" asked Marihea in the background as she exited the bathroom wearing something that...certainly wasn't hers..."What the heck are you wearing?!" replied Felix noticing Marihea was wearing the shirt he was needing for tomorrow. "What does it look like?" smirked Marihea doing a small twirl, she was quite pleased with herself and Felix's reaction. "No more frowning!" she shouted as she leapt onto Felix wrapping her legs around Felix's hips whilst gripping onto his red shirt.

"H-Hey watch it you-" began Felix before Marihea interrupted him "You call me heavy and you're finding another room for the night" she replied narrowing her eyes. Marihea certainly wasn't heavy and it gave Felix alot of comfort having her wrapped around him the way she was. Felix could feel the comforting warmth coming off her body and a desire for more but wasn't sure of it was ok to do so. Marihea noticed his eyes drifting to her face as his hand slide down to where her tail met her back "jeez...really? Even now Felix?" spoke Marihea raising an eyebrow. "Always the tail...well fine...if you'll not do it I WILL!" announced Marihea before tightening her grip on him and kissing him on the lips.

She separated from him after a few seconds "the clinging was a bit of a hint idiot..." giggled Marihea. "Well...you know...I wasn't sure if you.." replied Felix avoiding her gaze. "Felix it's been over four months...we're still sharing the same room, one bed and we've....done some things we PROBABLY shouldn't be doing. Wait! Before you open your mouth the first time was your fault coming to my place of work back then. The second time we...didn't have a place to lock me in" continued Marihea staring fiercly into his eyes as she though 'I wasn't going hunting that second time when I had a perfectly good male there but I'm not telling him that'.

"So wait does this mean your my..." began Felix looking surprised. Marihea puffed her cheeks out "Jeez...you're annoying me. I told you long enough you're my partner. Now, come here I want to kiss more...the human way...I quite like it..." she giggled giving Felix a deep kis once more her tail wrapping around his leg wagging gently at the tip.
