We created our own system suitable for more narrative games we love to play. Works fine for us XD
We also playing DnD, Pathfinder, pbta (various hacks), Call of Cthulhu and many others.
This one episode actually really cool. My players was honoured guests in the Feywild (in the Goblin Court) and got to observe how fallen king was executed. He was torn apart by the other aristocratic goblins. Everyone who has king's blood on them where deemed pretenders to the throne. Then white stug emerged from the remains of the king and began to run. The ine who catches the stug would get the crown. But my players was unlucky enough to get little splatters of the blood on them. And so they were forced to participate in the hunting.

ooohhhh that is SOOOO cool, ugh. any time i play any kind of TTRP or CRPG I always wish I practiced art when I was younger so I could make personal art like this... but making your own system is so cool!! and so is this artwork!!!
would you happen to recommend Pathfinder for beginners, btw? I've always played DnD 5e but a few of my beginner friends want to start a campaign and we're deciding on a rule set!

For me Pathfinder was extremely satisfying during the game itself but character generating was just hellscape because it's just too much options. But you can also create almost any trope not even by flavour but mechanically too! I played noir detective elf who investigated clues to understand the enemy, find their weak spots and fight them better (literally get advantage). We also had the swashbuckler who needed to do risky impressive moves to get +++ to the rolles and also dancer bard you used dancing instead of the singing or talking.
Battles was much more fun, fast and pleasant then DnD ones (and much easier to balance for the DM). So if you willing to sit through abysmal character creation you'll have fun!

ohhhh i love that!!!! my biggest complaint with 5e was I always had to find a homebrew class and make sure it was balanced & okay with my DM before making a character using it to make a spellsword, actually identical to the piece of Griffith you're working on, a character that's a mage but uses their sword to cast spells!! but pathfinder sounds so cool, i'm definitely gonna look into it and bring it up to my friends. thank u ! <3
