This is my Knight Phillip he comes from one of my homebrew worlds in particular a Duchy called Golden Rose. He works closely with my Unicorn Himbree and friends who you can also find in my gallery. Phillip co-runs the territory of Brighton with his wife and the reason for that is his chief profession is serving as Himbree's guardian. His loyal royal knight. This is a prestigious job but comes with it's draw backs. Mainly that Phillip is a Human man and these are Faery court politics. They come with a Whole Host of magics, spells, substances of unknown tracheary and so forth. If you are familiar with fantasy court dramas it's like that but dialed up. Phillip's been at this long enough to understand the interplay and have built up and immunity to much of it. But I really liked this art piece because Lily's to me, Especially White Lily's, are symbolic of death. They are Very poisonous to a great many things. I really liked the contrast between his stalwart and very proper stance with the very real presence of threat and poison all around him. I think it's a very solid metaphor for his lifestyle. I also just think the colors go SO WELL in this.
