William is an assistant biochemist of Cedar Chemical Solutions, living with Head of Security and girlfriend, Piper Crowley, at the Cadaval Estate. Although technically not an employee of Emmanuel, the two were colleagues at the local Cedar University.

Having shared some chemistry courses, and Emmanuel being struck by the red fox's rare case of albinism, they remained good friends since. After inviting him to catch up on each other, William met, and became instantly infatuated, in Emmanuel's employee, Piper. Always smaller than most of his peers, William went through great lengths to impress the stern dire wolf, even experimenting on himself to mixed results.

Even with these measures largely failing, the two ended up dating, before making it official shortly after. Unlike Piper's more forceful, stern demeanor, William maintains a chipper, more optimistic one, managing to make her crack a smile and show off her softer side. Despite his positivity and downright cuddly nature, William takes his job seriously and tries to keep his interactions with his coworker, June, professional while on the clock.

He will gladly indulge Piper's continuous domineering of him, and enjoys seeing her maintain the upper hand in their interactions, but will not hesitate to stand up for both her, as well as their relationship, when dealing with anyone who might try to get between them. Although he isn't athletic in the same way Piper is, her encouragement and support motivates William to join her during exercises and try to keep up with her as best as he can, despite the huge difference in their sizes.
