Kosmas was born as an orphan in the middle of a stormy night in a deep forest when he was not even hatched yet. It was said someone carried his egg to escape the mass genocide whose Saeth tribe was believed to be destroyed completely. During that night, while the person was running with Kosmas in the egg in the deep steep forest mountain, unfortunately, his egg fell down. By the mercy of his ancestors, the egg was carried by leaves and tree branches from this tree to that tree, as if he was floating on the sea of forest. The egg was bright red, some dark brown spots, it was quite easy to be spot but also a target to unwanted predators.

A qilin whose name was Tónar, male and he was a teacher from the capital teaching younglings in the rural area, was losing the path to return his home, near a kobold tribe, called Kuklu. He was harvesting some plants for medicines at night, but he was struck by the huge rain. Being lost, he sat under a big tree, hopefully he wait till the rain stopped...

Then, a bright red spot fell from the mountain, passed through the tree branches, holding a vulnerable creature gently. It fell down like a red meteor. This attracted him to stand up and follow the way to reach the spot. When he arrived, the eggshell was already cracked, a weak cluck came from the egg, being protected by a thick bed of wet grass. Tónar came closer and held the egg. It was hatched, a baby dragon growled weakly as it was cold and wet here. He quickly pulled a thick blanket from a small bag to cover the baby dragon. Soon he found the way to go home which was next to the border of the forest.

No one knew where the dragon came from, why was the egg appeared near Kuklu's tribe. The next day, several young kobolds gathered in front of Tónar's house as the rumor of the dragon spread to the whole tribe. Sok, who was the chief of the tribe, green scale with lots of horns on the head and behind the jaw, came to visit. Tónar the qilin and the chief investigate the origin of the dragon. Both of them grasped as Kosmas belonged to one of the rarest species, most powerful yet draconic as it had been in every individual, for fear when he grew up, he would be a disaster.

The chief suggested to abandon the baby dragon. Yet, Tónar embraced his fatherhood, decided to raise and by his will and knowledge, he would grow up to not only be an obedient, neutral dragon but also a strong, smart one. He named him Kosmas, the surname came from the qilin, and the middle name, Alvis, was a mystery to be known later when he grew up. The danger of his fate and his ancestor was yet to be discovered, Kosmas was temporarily nurtured by his foster father in a safe place without dragons nearby...

Note: The origin story is mainly applied for the feral dragon, yet I haven't finished drawing the feral ref yet. And I am planning for something bigger, to create his world and a narration is being planned
