After a lot of nagging from my friends I finally got convinced to get myself a Sona and well... Here he is.
Meet Tylus. I made him his own character to be used in stories and to have him neatly fit into the TD verse with more interesting story and interests than my own. But yeah, I do plan to use him to represent myself from now on.

I did most of the coloring myself. Mostly the base colors, so the artist only had to add fur patterns.
And I also did a few edits to it while busy with coloring.

If the glasses are able to 100 percent correct the vision, then yes. He would pass any vision tests and he's golden.
If the glasses are unable to fully correct the vision, it may be a different story. And then it is solely reliant on if the glasses correct it enough.
Correcting a -2 or -3 is no problem for glasses. Correcting -10 is challenging.
His eyesight is just bad and he's nearsighted, no other illnesses.
If he has to guess what's written on the board in school when sitting at the other end of the room, it suggests that the glasses don't fully correct his vision.
But if he thinks he can do it. He probably will
