Now that FA is a MySpace clone, I guess it's ok to post a picture of my car...
It's a late model Porsche 944. In its day, it was Porsche's entry level sports coupe, though there were eventually cabriolet versions. Its main claim to fame was its almost perfect balance and tight handling due to having the transmission located in the rear with the engine in the front. But it was less fast and not as advanced or distinctive as the 911 or 928 models. Even so, I saw them as a kid, thought they looked neat...and decided that I wanted one of my very own when I grew up - a black one, with tan leather seating. So that's exactly what I got one day.
But now it is only a year and a half away from officially being an antique...and it was sort of underpowered even in its own day, let alone now. I upgraded the exhaust a bit and some other stuff, but was only able to squeeze out a small amount of extra horsepower. More advanced upgrades for this model are rather challenging and not even advisable.
So, I am thinking of getting something more modern and advanced, like a modern day Porsche 911 Carrera, or perhaps even a turbo...then again, maybe just a Mercedes SLK, or something else that is nice and fast. I have not decided yet. But not this year...oh well, maybe next year. ^_^

Thanks, I suppose it does have its charms. And above average features. =D
I appreciate your open minded view of alternative Porsche models. I certainly think a lot of Porsche models were really neat, including non-911 ones like the Cayman. But Porsche purists never seem to be happy with anything less than an air cooled 911 with very stiff suspension and no frills, or a GT model. Some Porshe people can be weird about that. Go figure.
