Interesting developments!

"Not anywhere on earth." -- actually, a more accurate answer might be "not anywhere on earth from 1994 to whenever GPS will become obsolete". After all, your character *could* be still on earth, just travelled to the past or future.

true, but the CS rep doesn't know she's in a story dealing with alternate worlds. she only knows that you can't go anywhere on earth and not get GPS reception
