I really wanted to expand on the character interaction that Catastrofae made for me~ Both Finley and Fane are “outcasts” that choose to seclude themselves away from “normal” people. But after bumping into Finley in the forest Fane approaches and tries not to scare the stranger. They talk and find that they have a lot in common; they both like spiders, having some sewing experience, etc. (This is the headcanon I’ve made for Catastrofae’s illustration)

Later Finley suggests they go looking for bugs! Fane loves to be included in things so he’s happy to join in! Now that he knows Finely won’t be afraid of his spider features/ multiple arms he shows them without any shyness! He would use his own magic-conjured webs to catch the woodland insects~

I imagine that after they find the first bug Fane will try to eat it :’D He would assume that’s what Finley does with the bugs he catches anyways. Misunderstandings like this happen a lot with Fane TTwTT

Funny how this image only has two characters on it and yet I ended up drawing 10 hands XD Surprisingly the hands weren’t that hard to draw. I think drawing multi-armed Fane a lot already has given me practice!
