I have this debate with myself every weekend. This last Saturday there was an emergency service call I needed to run, took about four hours in the middle of the day. I thought about it and all I really “lost” was some time listening to YouTube while playing a video game.

Society has trained us not to value our own mental well being and enjoyment(unless we're paying for it). It's pretty unhealthy and exploitative.
If you feel like you're not getting much personal value from your you-time maybe you should look into trying new hobbies or activities you might enjoy more?
