Another character from another movie. Rooster, from The Secret Life of Pets 2.
Another one of these characters I watch a movie for. Pets 2 frustrates me in the same ways many Illumination movies frustrate me (doesn't mean I don't like the movies), buuut... yeah, Rooster is great. The farm dog is ready to tussle x3
I don't have specific crossover ideas for him in the same way I do for Duke, buuut hey yeah, mainly just wanted to draw him again, been a while. Paper-to-digital again with this one.

Yeah, this studio's films aren't as good as they used to be. I watched the first one back in the day, and it was good, but not good enough to make me want to watch the sequel. Still, Rooster (a weird name for a farm dog, but whatever) is pretty cool, I think. And damn, his body just oozes strength, considering that all farm dogs are as strong as ten men. Duke should learn from him (I mean Duke from Pets), otherwise he'll get too fat.
I like how you drew Rooster's powerful chest muscles, you can immediately see who's the boss here. And of course, the boxing gloves are the canonical brown color. Great drawing, Jar. I'm glad that when I was looking for fan art of Ginga, I discovered your work. Keep creating, man, you're doing great, I'm not kidding.

Thank you! Yeah the studio's films always got great things going for em, buuut I always wish they were like 10-15 minutes longer and they gave characters more moments to make their story arcs more meaningful x3 still yeah, I like many of em, Sing 1 and 2 especially.
And while I'm not suuuper good at drawing different bodies I did atleast tryyy to give him a different vibe from the others I've been drawing recently. A sorta feel that makes him feel rather fit and tall x3
