Wow. This takes me back
The last time I read this book was so long ago, my brain wasn't equipped with the skills or focus to imagine her like this. In my brain, she looked much less toned and predatory. I think I might have projected some of our heavy fluffy housecats onto her, because I also remember giving her hands that were a minimal conversion from feral paws.
