I have never been really a fan of the Ponies. Actually, the whole phenomenon of their popularity among people older than 8 puzzles me.
I made this as a pun, but I have only a basic knowledge of the real ponies. Just the other day I found out ALL the ponies are supposed to be female... Which makes their life cycle even more unlikely than the Smurfs'.

This confused me as well, until it was pointed out that only the main character ponies were female. There are, in fact, male ponies, they just usually are background characters or (as I was told by a friend who's freaking ga-ga about this series..), bullies, as it seems they even had one being voiced by the person who does the voice of Nelson from The Simpsons. HAHA.
