demivie put me onto an awesome book series that a absolutely hooked me to a point of obsession. After major nerd out session, decided to get a comm themed on the book. Scythe is the title given in a post mortal world where natural death is a thing of history, and yet population control is still a grim requirement. It is up to the Scythes to Glean from the population in their own method, and to take the name of a patron historic, an individual from history on whom to draw their philosophy and inspiration.
