As a Video Game's player.. I'm fan of Tomb Raider the games. :)
Mostly I liked Lara Croft's first look from TR, TR2, TR3 and TR4. Before Eidos Interactive -company changed Lara's look more like reality.
Tomb Raider belongs for Eidos Interactive.
Art belongs for me :3

Wow. That is beautiful sexy and hot for Lara Croft. A Fox fursona is Perfect for Lara. Yeah, Loved the games. There awesome for a great grand adventure for us. Shes our best foxy archaeologist who is agile, fexible, and a great Gunslinger. Excellent and lovely job on Vixen Lara Croft, Droll. <33333
I loved playing the original Tomb Raider games on the first playstation console. As much as I don't want to admit it, to be honest her endowed figure was one of the first reasons I decided to try the series out. '^_^ But then I got into the general action-adventure gameplay and liked it a lot since then.
I don't know how, but you always seem to pick the best fursonas for characters from games and real life people that seem to suit them best. A fox fursona definitely fits well for Lara in her case, considering that she can be sneaky, clever, and adaptive to the environment when she needs to be.
Have you seen the previews for the new Tomb Raider game that's going to revamp Lara as a character and make the gameplay more focused on survival? I have to say, I'm actually looking forward to it from what I've seen so far. :)

Lara's boobs shrinking was probably because of political correctness. That shit ruins everything.
That said, this is a pretty fucking cool rendition of an anthro Lara. Come to think of it, if it weren't for Lara and Krystal got her own franchise instead of becoming a Star Fox character, I'd say Krystal would have made a perfect anthro alternative to Lara Croft.
Fuck, I want to commission that now. Krystal in Tomb Raider.

The way I see it, just as the uber-masculine protagonists in COD and Gears of War could probably be seen as an idealized male form, Lara was probably meant to be the idealized female form. Truth be told, the sex appeal really does add to the larger than life stories of action-adventure games. If Lara can gun down hordes of big cats and mercenaries, it's not necessarily realistic to make her boobs bigger, but it does help keep the larger-than-life shtick going. The fact that it's too awesome to be real.
Same thing for the direction that the Saints Row games have gone, which I think is a positive direction. At first it was just a GTA clone, but now it truly is a superb game series in its own right. Why? My answer is that they stopped worrying about being a GTA game and just worried about finally giving Saints Row that unique touch it's been needing from the get go. Even then, GTA isn't really realistic either. And that's a good thing. Gun suppressors don't work as literal silencers in real life, but silenced guns are a staple of both movies and video games as they allow for an simple take on stealth gameplay without worrying too much about the little details. Blunt truth be told, if you're playing Splinter Cell, you're not doing it for advanced stealth training. You're doing it for the sake of entertainment. That is, escaping the bubble of reality for an action-packed adventure.
Whew... now to find an artist I can commission for a pic of Krystal in Tomb Raider. Or maybe even something like Uncharted. Similar settings, really.
