Description:
Since 2020, the secrets of the MALAKAS Project had been able to remain concealed and uncompromised, despite multiple cases of muscle growth serum smuggled worldwide, but it remained that way until the European Union had come to notice the influx of its citizens (mostly from Germany) flying into the US state of California just for the project. The Indonesian diplomats on the other hand had already had their hands on two Todeswurm parasites, and still had been struggling to fully realize the full properties of such serum, and the said diplomats couldn't afford to publicize their own finding yet at the risk of unwanted attention from United States and even its powerful rivals.
In 2025, the EU Council handpicked few of its members to send its volunteers to the project and financially provide them, and among the said countries was Denmark. The MALAKAS Project, as of this entry, had no official record of Recruits hailing from Denmark and few other EU states. So far, the Danish government had managed to scout three volunteers: Klaus Torskeolie (an urban yet humble fox who worked in fishing in Copanhagen), Ernst Havbunden (a clumsy and asthmatic Oceamug who hailed from a faraway village), and Kristian Tekelakayi (an Ethiopian-born tarantula who moved to Copanhagen with his father working as an Orthrodox monk).
These three volunteers were residing in Klaus' custom-made penthouse, and despite their different background, their most common goal was to become bodybuilders. That came to their mind, when they visited the bordering city of Flensburg a year ago, just for enjoyment of German culture there, and for once in a hotel they accidentally switched to one US-based channel that featured a commercial for the MALAKAS Project.
Once settled, the three Danish boys went to Santo Tomas, California via plane to San Francisco, where they could get to see Super Soldiers who loved to show off their bodies and tell their experiences back in Mt. Tingganda Military Base, the main site for the said project. A week later, the three would take a bus to the mountain base, where they were expected to be interviewed by the project supervisor Christopher North, much to the latter's disappointment. Unbeknownst to the EU Council, the MALAKAS Project had already expanded each well-hidden base in Northern Mexico, Central Thailand, Northwestern USA, and Southern Germany in span of almost four years, and it came to confuse Chris when he learned that his operatives in Southern Germany had been struggling to find any recruit there, most possibly due to a political instability spread nationwide there, and any German citizen would not dare take a risk training there, let alone a secret base in a forest. Nevertheless, Chris relented and assigned the three Danes to a German instructor who was an expert in Danish, as he had learned that those Danes were not that good in English, though a bit better on Kristian's part.
Their German instructor, Ludwig Sonnenschein the wolf, not only assisted them in training, but also took his time to help them improve their English, because once they had had their fill in their stay, they would confidently be able to travel across Europe, as they desired to make friends abroad, eat some good food, visit wonderful sites, and even participate in bodybuilding contests outside Denmark.
However, even the three Danish boys had small but impactful differences witnessed in their progress. Klaus spent his break time fishing for a large fish, perhaps one or more, but ended up popularized as a star model for muscular fishers, inspiring more Recruits to start fishing. Ernst, although still reliant on his inhaler, began to ease his current symptoms after being given an experiment drug by mountain scientists, which could inspire asthmatic people who came to hear or know about him. And as for Kristian, despite being oriented in Ethiopian Tewahedo teachings, he did often did Sunday sermons to Orthrodox Christian Recruits, and his new experience could reach his fellow Ethiopians in his similar age to join the project, though political concerns would potentially escalate with his home country's bitter rival by the northern border. Regardless, the three Danes were honorably discharged and eventually brought back to their normal lives in Copenhagen, and by normal, they would have to modify their own schedules to include working out, but should they be asked by curious locals about their new changes, they wouldn't mind doing what Super Soldiers would usually do, showing off their muscular bodies and explaining their experience back in Mt. Tingganda.
