I just looked can't find the one I bought from. But seeing the tag in the picture confirms the brand at least. I have husky, wolf, lion, raccoon, red fox and some others. Two are from the Jagg company, a horse and a wolf, they're similar but different and have removable tails on them. Those too, right now, I can't locate on E -bay. I don't get around stores much, when got no money to spend why look and get "tortured", you know? But I am always on the prowl for any furry thing, 24/7, so whenever I go out, the eyes are always open to see what I can find and I have never found them in any store otherwise, sorry to say.
The only place I've ever seen these hats was at an indian gifts shop on Fremont Street in Las Vegas. They even did the e-bay listings that I was aware of.
Recently, there's been this whole wave of Chinese hats that have been hitting random places. And, the things are selling like crazy. As, when I find a bunch one week, they'll be nearly or completely sold out, the next week. Can tell, because those have some drooping deal that rests upon the shoulders.
The one thing I have an issue with over this brand name hat is that each kind has some kind of flaw. The fox that I have, needed it's fur trimmed back from the eyes. The deer has drooping antlers, as there's no internal support. The moose DOES have a wire support. But, that keeps the hat from even hugging the head. The raccoon's tail was annoying, against the back of my neck. How can they be so awesome, yet so flawed?
I also know that there is this zombie killing video game that is based in Las Vegas. The main character manages to acquire one of these unique hats. So, I tend to think it's an LV thing.

But back in the 1980's, when I had my stuffie store in El Cajon on Fletcher Parkway, there was a local company that made similar. they're long since gone and out of business, but they were awesome. They got the license for the Hamm's beer bear and Smokey. Unfortunately, what had a major factor in doing them in was that they paid for the license for "The Get-Along Gang". Was a Saturday morning kid's show on CBS. I think it was a great and positive show but it failed. And because of that, all the money they invested in getting the license (which was a lot) ate up their funds. They never "recovered", so to speak. They were called 3-West.
