I like the Pokemon franchise.
Is one of those things that I've known all my life and as such, I tend to work on more ideas related to the characters of this franchise I like. As now I got a bit more time for my own projects, I decided to work on a story that has one character I believe deserves more: Lucy, who is one of the Frontier Brains from the Battle Frontier.
The idea was simpler than I thought as her own motif already gave me an idea about what I wanted to do and well, here's the story that came from that idea.
If you are interested in getting a story, I'm open for commissions!

Lucy was set on catching that Seviper one way or another.
It all started after one of the maids that worked on her facility told her about the rumors linked to a new kind of Seviper. Being her favorite Pokemon, the Frontier Brain quickly took an interest on, asking questions about that creature to her maids and even making deals with some of the challenges that came to her Battle Pike, exchanging information for a rematch in case they lost. This went like that for a few weeks, with the pretty woman continuing to get more information and even taking some days off to prepare herself and her Pokémon.
Once she finally got the exact location where that unusual Seviper was, she left the Battle Frontier and traveled to Lavaridge Town as a lot of people mentioned seeing the strange creature there. From the moment she arrived, Lucy didn’t waste any time as she went to Mt. Chimney, the place she sensed she could find the Seviper. As that was her favorite Pokemon, the Frontier Brain knew how to deal with it, coming with a team that not only was resistant to poison attacks, but also equipped them with items that would boost their most powerful moves.
She was confident that she would achieve what she wanted in no time and that in a matter of minutes she was going to be back at Lavaridge Town and enjoy the hot springs and also some days off. Sadly, her search for the Seviper didn’t go like she imagined as she ended up walking for hours and finding all kinds of Pokémon minus the colorful snake she was interested in. Even after night came, the Frontier Brain didn’t leave Mt. Chimney, ignoring the warnings of the people that lived in the town and remaining there instead.
“This might be a risky decision, but I came here to get that Seviper and I won’t leave until I find it,” she became a Frontier Brain for excelling in battles, using tactics that not a lot of people expected and excelling in battles against opponents that she may consider stronger than her. Lucy was interested in getting that Seviper and while she knew this could end badly for her, she was willing to take that risk in hopes of finding that Pokémon she wanted to make hers. “Just one more hour or two…then I’m leaving.”
She believed this was all the time she needed and unbeknownst to her, the encounter with the Seviper was closer to becoming a reality as the Pokémon she was interested in adding to her team has been following her for the last hour. The rumors that Lucy heard only talked about people finding one Seviper that was of a different color, but what they didn’t mention was one part of the encounter that the Pokémon made them forget by using a special ability of its own and while this was far from the first time the Seviper saw noticed someone being near his zone, unlike the past trainers, he got an interest on Lucy.
The colorful Pokémon waited quietly, following the Frontier Brain and staying hidden until he had a chance to make his move. All that needed to happen was for Lucy to go to the place it wanted and after a couple of hours searching for that creature, she stopped. She was all day trying to look for that colorful Pokémon and while she started with high hopes, after finding all kinds of Pokémon except for the ones she wanted to catch, Lucy decided to stop and try again the next day.
“I think it’s the right thing to do,” she tried to brush off that feeling of exhaustion, but knew that it was better to leave than to continue walking for another hour. Lucy also took that decision after taking in consideration how she would feel during the encounter, wanting to have enough energy to command her Pokémon and not let that tiring feeling affect her during that match. She was prepared to go back to the town, but just as she turned around, Lucy was at a loss of words as the colorful Pokémon was in front of her.
The Seviper wasn’t of the same dark color as usual nor was of a Shiny as it was a dark purple snake with some bright pink and green details. This was the moment she was waiting for and while Lucy was ready to call her own Seviper or even her Steelix, as the latter had a type resistance against poison moves, the colorful Pokémon didn’t let her made up her mind as instead, it jumped towards her and in a couple of seconds, the Frontier Brain was at the mercy of its coils.
“Let me go!” Her words only caused the snake to tighten its coils. The Seviper was a smarter creature compared to other Pokemon, not only being aware of Lucy coming with a team that could defeat him, but also coiling her in such a way that not only she would have a hard time trying to break free from its coils, but also incapacitating her from reaching the poke balls she had in her belt. She still made an attempt, but as she put all of her concentration into finding a way to call one of her Pokemon, the Seviper revealed the special ability it used against the other victims. “What…are you doing?”
Lucy was aware that the snake has more abilities than other Sevipers, but she didn’t expect the creature she was hoping to capture to have a hypnotic ability. While she got distracted trying to break free from its coils, the colorful Pokémon activated those captivating spirals that quickly made an impact on the Frontier Brain as the moment she locked her eyes on the snake’s gaze, a strange feeling was starting to take over her.
“Pretty…colors…” she cooed softly. Her mind was between trying to resist and find a way to escape and letting those captivating colors take over her. As the induction barely started, Lucy was still awake enough to know that being at the mercy of that colorful Pokémon was bad, but while she still tried to resist, going between liking that sensation and reminding herself about how she couldn’t let the Pokémon win, her attempts were not working. “N-no…you won’t…break me…”
In battles, Lucy usually remained calm. Even when her opponent got the upper hand or it looked like their Pokémon were stronger, the Frontier Brain always found a way to change everything in her favor. Of course, this wasn’t a battle nor did she have the chance of defending herself as the colorful Pokémon was faster and had more experience related to dealing with people like her. Apart from using its entrancing eyes, the Seviper made use of its body, with the coils that trapped the pretty woman tightened the more she looked at his gaze and also using the tip of its tail to caress her face.
“Why…I can’t…look away?” She still was awake enough to realize that there was something wrong about her not doing something as simple as looking away or closing her eyes. It didn’t help that she was also starting to like the sensation of the Seviper’s coils pressing against her body and while the pretty woman still was trying her best, that feeling was so strong that those ideas that the colorful Pokémon indulged in her head were starting to take over her.”I...don’t want to...look away…”
While she spoke quietly, that was all the Seviper needed to hear to know that the pretty woman finally gave up. Compared to its eyes and those ideas of submission, everything around her stopped being important, including that perspective she had about herself. As she accepted her fate, stopping being that confident woman she was and continuing to look at those captivating eyes, Lucy started to smile. Her mind shut completely as that euphoric became too much for her to ignore.
“I...I love this…” Lucy cooed softly, no longer having any bad thoughts related to what the colorful Pokémon was doing to her. She also dropped any idea related to escaping and even fighting about it, with the Frontier Brain also begging for forgiveness for the way she acted. This was another reaction that the hypnotic Pokémon normally saw with each induction as anyone under the effect of those captivating eyes would believe that this is what they wanted.
Those bright colors were guiding Lucy into a nice state of trance, letting her think that this was happening because of a desire and not because she fell at the mercy of the entrancing eyes of the Pokémon she was planning to capture. As the Seviper moved its tail closer to her neck, choking her a bit as its coils tightened one last time, Lucy reached the deepest point of relaxation. Her mind shut off and she smiled, loving the way she was feeling and hoping this feeling would never end.
It wasn’t necessary for the hypnotic Pokémon to do more, just by looking at the way the spirals in her eyes were moving and how she wasn’t reacting by its movement was all it had to see to know that the pretty woman was at its mercy. Normally, at this point, the hypnotic Pokémon would make sure that the ones under the effect of its hypnotic eyes would forget about that part of their encounter, but doing this to Lucy didn’t feel like the right choice. She was different from those other trainers and instead of wanting her to get away, the Seviper wanted to be closer to her. All the hypnotic creature needed to know was to use the same colorful eyes on Lucy to get what it wanted and as the Seviper moved his head in front of Lucy’s gaze, the pretty woman gasped as she smiled, happy to admire those captivating and hypnotic colors once again.
In a matter of seconds, right after looking deeply at the Seviper’s eyes once again, Lucy remembered her reasons to be there: she wanted to capture the poison type Pokemon. Thinking about having the Pokémon with the hypnotic ability caused her to smile and while this was the original reason why she went there, everything changed as instead of the Seviper being by her side and following her commands, the Pokémon was the one in charge and she was the one that obeyed.
“Yes...stay and...command me,” she spoke in a submissive tone, something that was the complete opposite of how she presented herself. In battles, Lucy might be someone calm and cunning who never fell into the pressure, but here, she was a submissive servant that needed her new master to tell her what to do and she was on with that and more. Pleased with how the pretty woman reacted, the Seviper carefully uncoiled her before letting itself be captured by a poke ball the Frontier Brain threw in its direction and took him out barely a few seconds after capturing it.
For the first time, the Seviper was not in the wild, he was close to someone that could help him with a lot of things, including getting more servants. This induction became its favorite one for a multitude of reasons and as Lucy was taking him back to the town, the Seviper remained quiet, thinking about the outcome of that night. As for Lucy, from the day she heard about that unusual Seviper, the Frontier Brain gave herself the goal of capturing it and making it part of her team. While her encounter with the unusual Seviper didn’t end like she expected, she was happy as not only did she get a new Pokemon, but also a new master that she was going to cherish and take good care of. She never expected that finding the unusual Pokémon would end like this, but she didn’t mind as, in a way.
She got what she wanted.
