Singing the Storm

A more refined attempt at digital painting, though deliberately kept loose.
This was made after an idea inspired by a close friend and I having a love of ethnic music and nature - after going to the Smoky Mountains, the scene was set ^^.
The instrument that I am playing is a hurdy gurdy, a more mechanized sort of string instrument prevalent in Eastern European countries such as the Ukraine and Poland. Synsulisarian, the green dragon, has a knack for Tuvan throat singing in real life, so it is what goes through my head when I imagine what he is doing, but it's all up to the imagination. : )
Photoshop CS4, no references (and it shows XD)
Synsulisarian © himself
