Tyrone had went into the fight with Elvis with low exceptions for his opponent. He had gardened a reputation as a boxing legend who could knock out his opponents and leave them standing upright and now some self-described king was gonna beat HIM?! Tyrone refused to take things seriously and went into the fight with little prep work. Maybe if Tyrone had laid off the snack food and put in some practice though, he wouldn’t have found himself knocked out cold with Elvis standing over his lifeless body in the fourth round…

I asked them to draw this piece for me and Bas for Boxing Gorilla Day but they were bogged down by other commissions and I honestly didn’t think they’d make this for us in time for the holiday. By a stroke of luck, they managed to get this done on the eleventh hour and it turned out amazing! Go pay them money to draw more spaced-out simians!
