Versitile and easy to cook stir-fry full of flavour and colour from the kitchens of
sgredalert
I was really hungry and had no idea what to make, so I took some leftover Stir Fry ingredients from last week's stir fry ( http://www.furaffinity.net/view/6135914 ) and made this from it. As the name suggests, I had no idea what I was doing.
Oh, and we have Soundwave and Ravage joining us to eat. XP That's my $80 G1 Soundwave working MP3 player (the cannon comes out revealing a headphone/speaker jack) and my $60 G1 Ravage flash drive. I love them both to pieces, and yet they're both the third and fourth most expensive pieces to my Transformers collection.
I bet Ravage was wishing this was some Spike & Bumblebee stir fry.
Bacon IHaveNoIdeaWhatI'mDoing Stir Fry
Ingredients:
A1 New York Style Marinade
Soy Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
Basil
Parsley
Onion Powder
1 Cup Plain White Rice
Bacon (4-5 Pieces)
Brown sugar
1 Bag Frozen Asian Style Stir Fry Vegetable Mix OR:
Broccoli
Carrots
Green Beans
Optional: Water chestnuts
Optional: Lemon pepper (I put lemon pepper in it as well and it's quite spicy. The A1 marinade has a lot of pepper in it as it is.)
Directions:
1. Put two cups of water in a pot to boil.
2. Grab a frying pan and half cook 4-5 slices of bacon. I say only cook halfway, because when you put it in the pan with the vegetables it's going to sautee with them and cook some more. You can cook it all the way if you want really burnt bacon in your stir fry. Hey, some people like burnt bacon! =3
3. Place the bacon on a paper towel and set aside.
4. Your water should be rapidly boiling by now. If it was boiling before, re-measure and re-boil. Once it is boiling and no water has boiled off, place 1 Cup of white rice inside, stir, turn the heat down to Medium and cover for 25 minutes. When the timer goes off, place in a light layer on the plate.
5. Mix the A1 Marinade, Soy Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Basil, Parsley, Onion Powder, Brown Sugar (I used about 1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon) into a bowl and stir.
6. Take bacon pan and rinse lightly. Put pan back on burner on medium heat and place vegetables and a small bit of the sauce inside. Tear up bacon pieces and add to the mix. Sautee until almost ready, adding sauce every so often and re-stirring.
7. Add the rest of the sauce when the stir fry is done. Place stir fry over rice on plate.
8. Enjoy!
