This is nothing more than an idealized situation. In real life, this certainly doesn't work that way.
It's often more a question of attitude than appearance. You could be the most beautiful person in the world, but beauty fades eventually. Working on your self-confidence is much more important than appearance.
I'm assuming you're young. You have time. And don't worry about the number of partners you've had. Focus on the quality of the people you meet.

True and I understand that. At least for most people Iv heard stories of it happening but they are defiantly the exception not the standard in society.
As far as Youth goes, that's fading fast. Im in my mid 30's Not having a midlife or anything :P Might last till Im twice this old but you know what they say, you hit 40 and its all down hill.
True on the Quality part. I learned that the hard way after getting burned by some bad room mates while in college.
