Characters are as shown:

* Munks: Perpetually angry monster hunter, wants to do right by the world and learn his place in it

* Germain: Smug, womanizing mentor. Munks' mentor and father figure, can be strict despite the cocky attitude.

* Maple: Rare white mage and book enthusiast. One of the only white mages in existence and can near instantly heal damage via touch which would otherwise take days to recover from

* Cera: Tired but volatile guide, Cera is Munks' handler for monster hunts but has been known to bicker with him about decisions, will not hesitate to rush into the field with a sawed off if things get too dicey.

* Schlamm: Dangerous enigma, A creature that seems practically impervious and stubborn about staying down. Acts on the whims of another with little input of his own but a rage boils deep inside.

* Almah: All powerful, Head of the mage hunting group, the "Black hole sun". Little is known about her and even fewer get to meet her. Carries world destroying power and a sinister plan for salvation.

* Hayden: Slasher slasher, masked killer hunting panda. They lost all their friends to a bloody incident that pushed them into stopping it from happening to anyone else, has an arsenal of unique weapons belonging to masked serial killers and uses their own techniques and weapons against them.
