A photo I took on our first camping trip that went.. well it went lmao.
Originally we were gonna camp at a camping spot near Bend, Oregon but we left way too late, arrived in the dark, disgruntled a whole bunch of campers since Everett isn't exactly quiet and then found out there were no free spots anyways. We didn't let it get us down so we instead drove all the way to the coast, where we got pulled over for accidentally driving with two different license plates (his old plate and his temporary plate, oops) but the cop was nice, didn't even give us a warning and actually showed us a different camping spot, the one in the photo!
We ended up staying one night and I unfortunately got pretty bad altitude sickness so we cut it short and went back home lmao. We had a makeshift tent that was a pain in the ass to set up in the middle of the night.. I can't wait to get his canopy so we can do it properly next time.
Everett was a champ the whole time by the way, even after over 5 hours of excessive driving up the mountains and then back down into the valley. He's my little trooper <3
