There are over 150 entrants spread out through eight breeding categories for this year's Dog Show. The Meet the Competition segment allows first time viewers to become acquainted with the faces associated of the show. The first three are Tank, Ryan, and Roland.
Tank hold's the trophy for last year's Best in Breed: Working Dog segment of the contest. Jocular and modest, he is easily likable and makes fast friends with his fellow contestants. Tank has only been competing for the last year, though he has been with his owner for eight years. Today's Show marks their anniversary together.
The competition is old hat for Ryan. After competing for several years, this veteran now sees the Show as an excuse to see new faces, sniff new crotches, and vie for a chance to make his Owner proud. In spite of his desire to be a good dog, Ryan is mischievous, snarky, and bossy. He rapidly takes charge should his Owner shows a lapse in judgment or authority.
Roland is new to the pup scene, though that is not to say he has not fantasized about participating for a long time. With his natural flair for the dramatic and his majestic presence this new-comer is already making numerous fans in the crowd. Roland is serious-minded and intense, traits which hide a playful side which is not exposed often enough.

Sketches of character concepts for the, as of yet unnamed, Dog Show. These are not definite characters that will appear in future drawings, but they are a chance to draw a variety of faces with a common theme.
Long time fans should recognize Ryan from a few years back. Roland has already been featured earlier this week. Tank was just an excuse to draw a different face type. Piper and Houdini should be making appearances in the next installment or two.
Vote now for the faces you want to actually see in the competition :p

Must say i have a soft spot for ryan, but thats cos i am unfairly bias. But out of the others. Roland is cute and very alluring to conceptualise in such a condition. However Tank is unusual as there is rarely any working dog art out there... i couldn't choose.
Than again, im a massive pervert :)

I think I'm a longer haired than Roland, and almost an otter with my body hair and fumanchu. I usually wear my long hair in pigtails.
Just don't pet me when I'm eating, I might growl at you. I have started to move away from eating meat though, it's not good for cholesterol.
