This is a 1:1 scale statue of Renamon from Digimon Tamers. She is made of chicken wire and paper mache, painted with spray paint and several different paintbrushes. She stands 195cm/6'5" tall with ears included and weighs ~5kg/10lbs total. She stands on her own feet using her tail as a support.

I started this project in mid-June and it took well over a month to complete from scrath. I made the schematics by myself compiling tons of images of her from several sources and finally made my own vision of her into a blueprint. Following the blueprint I spent countless amount of hours bending chicken wire to meet my vision and slowly covered it with paper mache as I advanced. After finishing the paper layers I covered the whole thing with several layers of paint and a layer of varnish.

I am pretty satisfied with the result this being my first project using this technique in this scale. Maybe for the most I like how her beautiful body shape came out, especially the lower back and hips (the picture doesn't do justice at all!) not forgetting the oversized thighs and power gloves - she's into martial arts after all.

I will add better pictures taken from different angles when I get my hands on a better camera, maybe a collage will do.
