In the southern regions, there is a curious absence of life, along the great road which stretches south into the Parvian deserts. A grand structure, hundreds of feet tall, glittering in gold and precious jewels creating a kaleidoscope effect visible for miles. Built by a kingdom of Dwarves in ancient antiquity, the disappearance of the Dwarves, while debated intensely among academic circles, is largely attributed to the dragon Rhydian which resides within its halls.
In antiquity armies were raised against him and fell before him like wheat. Their weapons, bones, and souls added to his horde. He grew in power without end, his fulminous belches smote all enemies before him. A cult spread word of his might, and performed tasks of devotion towards their dragon god. Kneading and rubbing his gut, feeding him, and waging war in his name.Still many die in his mere presence. Vaporized by his belches, crushed underneath his form, hunted for spots beyond simple discipline. And yet pilgrims, armies, and heroes flock to his domain.

The question remains. Have you the courage, o'traveler? Will you approach the Light of His Golden Maw?
