Yup that is basically where we are going. It's going to be where everyone has to be like the mob and just hand money under the table again because the credit card companies have made themselves obsolete/unreliable. This sort of behavior is way past what they should have power to do. Yet here we are asking if it is the right thing. It is not, there is no question to ask this needs to stop if someone else decides where/if you can spend your money people will just go back to using bartering or some other form of payment. The fact that they are even to this point is stupid. It's why Robinhood got in trouble for stopping people from buying gamestop several years ago. If you want to spend money on something you should have the right to spend it.
