Breaking my Posting rule cause I can....
What was supposed to be just a quick study, turned into a full piece. I wanted to test a render style that was a mix of my old render style and my newer one to see what it would look. I also took notes from several artists I love as well as the Zenless artstyle! The hope for this was to find a better work flow over all as I feel I am taking WAY to long with things. In grand-total, from start to finish this took 3+ hours. Which is SHOCKING to me considering it takes me hours to render typically. I'd love to hear feedback from you all!
Please enjoy this random piece featuring Roxanne Wolf, AKA, Best Girl Piece was done for my awesome Hubby!

Honestly I think your rendition of this looks amazing. Loving the lighting and the shadows not too mention the fur texture in the body fur and her hair & tail. The texture elements for lighting are a nice touch. I'd sayou you nailed it on the rendition here.

Thank you for all the feedback back!
So the best way I can break it down is that I separate it into 3 steps. The base shading and other lighter layers to build up the form. Then I hit the shading with a light bounce light. Last I used an Overlay layer for the top bright lighting. Last, on a final later I draw in the stray hairs.
Hope that helps!
As for texture, it's just the brushes I use and made in ClipStudio
