After several dates together, Jules invites Mi'vaki over to his place on Earth, a remote home on the coast of one of the many lakes in Canada. He wants to show her the beauty of the nature in this region. Mi'vaki, who spent most of her life in outer space, finds it an almost magical experience, and really enjoys the rich mixture of smells and the vivid soundscape of all the forest life. But when the evening falls, and it gets dark outside, the two of them get back indoors. Cosy by the fire, the two of them undress themselves, and Jules even removes the arm prosthetic from its socket to relieve some weight from his shoulder. They cuddle close together, and for Jules this moment was special: in one and a half centuries, he had never been this close to someone else before other than his foster parents when he was young. This thing made this old sour feel young again. As for Mi'vaki, this place, right here with Jules, started to feel more like a home than any other place in her life. One she would return to many times in the future...
