Well, I’ve finally done it! After putting it off for such a long time now I’ve finally got Mikalea in the outfit I probably should have gotten her dressed in much sooner! The Aether Foundation uniform. Why is this something I’ve been wanting to get Mikaela in for a long time now? Outside of just simply aiming to get Mikaela dressed up as a grunt for every villain team in this series the Aether Foundation is my favourite villain team in the whole Pokemon franchise! Most of that granted comes down to the backstory of their leader Lusamine who started out as a genuinely nice person who lost it after a terrible accident involving a multidimensional portal and her husband leading to her becoming, well, unstable let’s say… Assuming you’re playing the original version of Sun and Moon because Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon for some reason altered her motivation to be more of a miss understood well meaning person.

But more importantly, I just really like the design of the Aether Foundation overall and there’s not a single design in this organization I dislike. From Lusamine’s outfit herself to Wicke’s lovely outfit and assets to even just the grunts look. Seriously, this organization has got to have some of the most stylish uniforms for their grunts ever and I love it. But then again, all of the villain teams in this franchise have some nice drip that looks really nice to me. Why is it always the bad guys in fiction get the best outfits? I swear, some pieces of fictional media make the idea of being bad seem so tempting… *Sigh* I hate being motivated mostly by fashion and style sometimes lol.

And the fact that they came from what’s already my favourite game in the series helps out a lot two and I do mean that! Sun and Moon are my personal favourite Pokemon games which I was impressed by back then because I thought nothing could over take Heart Gold and Soul Silver for me as my favourites. Aside from my own real life experience of actually having been to Hawaii twice which the Alola region in game is based off of and the first time was only like a few months before the game originally came out *and ironically when Pokemon Go first because a thing and the world was obsessed with it* it has some of my favourite original Pokemon in the series especially the Legendries, regional forms for older Pokemon were something I never knew I wanted until this game, some of my fav music in the series, some really pretty locations and the fact that they actually did something unique in place of gyms again with the Island Trials helps out a lot two. I seriously can’t express how much I love Sun and Moon and the Aether Foundation is just the Cherubi on top. The fact that I grew up on both the original Lilo and Stich and it’s tv series and one of my favourite levels in Tony Hawk Underground was the Hawaii level probably helps that out two lol.
