I made a stool for the riding hall because someone stole the previous one.
My mom illustrated the horse's head, and I burned it into the top board. Painting the wood would be a crime — good wood should not be painted, but honored with varnish.
I originally wanted to cover the ends of the legs with sheet metal to prevent splitting, but in the end I gave up on that because someone will steal it anyway, just like the last one.
