...yeah, but this is Eric Kincaid we're talking about, and he made lots of odd choices with his dragons.
Like, the balls of the feet are proportioned for an inner big toe, but then he put the big toes on the outside.
And he made them quite small, even though the story implies Big Feet's foot is big enough to stomp Sir Morris and his charger in one hit.

This brings back some old memories as I had this book as a child and The Sad Vampire and Big Feet were stories I read time and time again. Big Feet is wonderfully portrayed in your style and particularly correcting the mix-up of left and right feet on the original cover and his feet being proportionally larger.
Though it would seem here that Big Feet has perhaps rather given the game away with his tail having made a heart sign and that he looks to be just sitting back, so he probably does rather enjoy having his feet tickled and decided to just let the boy have the win.

I have the idea that yes, Big Feet would like to get tickled after all.
And also, I think that the shape of the dragon's feet could be an artistic decision, since a lot of creatures have that shape at their feet. But the similitude with human feet makes it look weird 0:
