Revel in the feral
This was my second commission for the very lovely folks over at Club Animalz! This was actually the first design idea I had, and something more akin to my usual style - but with a hefty dose of extra that I couldn't help but put in~ But hey, what's new for my genderfuck rockstar hyena Thrash? <3
With this being a T-Shirt design first and foremost, I was constrained to only 7 colours. And heck, you don't realise how few colours that is until you draw them - I thought I was okay until I counted at the end and found 14 of them! So I had to get creative with a few bits here and there and... I'm really happy with what I was able to do <3
I LOVE doing expressive, energetic pieces like this...
Oh, and while you're here, you should ABSOLUTELY check out the slight edit that I made on this yesterday <3
I'll see y'all at Animalz in two weeks, won't I~?

Well, I went over and looked at what Club Animalz is, and Vishnu H. velociraptorfellating Christ some people out there are having a lot of fun. Not in a way I think I'll ever be into, but I gotta say I kind of envy them that ability for berserk and uninhibited release. And man if Thrash ain't a good avatar for them all.
If you or anybody else ever writes an account of what it's like, let me know and I'll devour it! As I say, I get the feeling it's an occasion that needs connections I'm not necessarily wired for with other humans, and I'm a little wistful about that. A warm and precious corner of the human phase-space that I suspect I'm unlikely to experience. I ain't exactly complaining—there are compensations!—but I'd kinda like to know, you know?
It was a wild time!
So, the main way I can describe it is similar to how my partner did - it's a sex-positive club with a dress theme. In this case, it was a cramped little cyberpunk-esque room, half of which was stag and girders, and absolutely full to the brim in lots of people and a lot of pup masks and not much else. I was there in T-Shirt and shorts - and later just shorts - and still felt very overdressed!
And that was kinda fantastic? With the dress code being nothing more than 'footwear required', everyone was wearing things that they wanted. Sometimes that was a leather harness and nothing else, sometimes it was a latex suit, and sometimes it was full army tactical gear - not to mention a lot of both conventional and custom pup masks. So for the most part, I was in the middle of the dancefloor with free glowsticks rocking out to some great music.
Downstairs was much the same, albeit darker - and in the corners behind some netting were the 'darkrooms'. That was where sex was sanctioned, and oh boy, they were full. Could barely get any space in there! I can't tell you a lot about the vibe in there, since I was only in there for a short while - but the vibe was so... deliberate, hard, packed. Those were people who came to fuck and indulge in each other, and it was very delightful to see <3
Overall, it was really fun to see what it was like. The freedom of expression, of being, of loving, was wonderful to see.
All kinds of gender, all kinds of vibes, just indulging together, late into the dark night... <3

Actually your description does something to assuage the slight wistfulness I was feeling at the idea. I guess maybe I was imagining something very soft and very slow, a deep languid snuggling of furry bodies (being me, I was probably even subconsciously picturing feral bodies) and the gradual luscious dissolution of boundaries between them. But the phrase "deliberate, hard and packed" sounds more, I dunno, goal-oriented in a way I don't identify with so much, and that vaguely relieves me of the feeling that I might be missing out on some completeness to be found in myself.
So your description comes to me more like a letter from the Amazon than from Alaska: a place I find objectively fascinating in its own right, as opposed to somewhere I hunger to go in search of my own nature. But it's still quite something to learn about it. If you ever wanna go anthropological on the subject, I promise to read everything you write. But just as good if you blow all your research time on rolling around in other critters' bodies. ♥

This is such a fantastic t-shirt design! Thrash has always been as cool as they are sexy, and the same is true here. Plus, you did a great job working with the limited color palette. I didn't even notice there were so few colors until reading the description; it just works so well with the design.
(And, needless to say, I do absolutely agree with the message of that edited version you linked. The way I see it, if you're living life in a way that makes puritanical payment processors 100% happy, you're probably doing it wrong.)
