While we squirrels have a lot of neat patterns, I think the weasel lineage has us beat on that one. XB

whaaat! noo dont believe that. Look at the red and white giant flying squirrel or the african red bush squirrel. or the insanse color variations of the fox squirrel! I have to find it again but theres another species of squirrel that has a tiger stripped tail. Andf of course there is the remarkable uttely remarakble Indian malabar ssquirrel and the tuffed ground squirrel! i cant think of any weasel that has a look as wild as the tuffed ground squirrel..... maybe the marbled polecat, but thats only one specioes against the rest of the mustelids like the boringly colored fisher! theres so many other mustelids that are just dull brown in color like that haha
