Hench-Gryph - Issue #2: Hench-Off (2/8) - Alt
(It looks like once again, Dr. Klumpfnacht is butting heads with his arch-nemesis! He is a goat, after all...)

“FMF338: typical DUMBF-nacht turning his minion into a fatass! I'd sue”
“DrKEV1L: mein hench-gryph is dedicated to SCIENCE, fool!”
“FMF338: and my sidekick Royce is dedicated to JUSTICE and FRIENDSHIP”
“DrKEV1L: Maks could kick his großer blauer arsch LMAO”
“ROYCENOICE: guys can we cool it”
“FMF338: I CALL A HENCH-OFF”
“ROYCENOICE: yes sir... there goes my weekend”
… But, when you hench for an egomaniacal evil genius as your day-job, it’s night impossible to stay out of trouble for long - especially when said arch-villain-whom-pays-the-bills joins a niche social media site designed for super-heroes and super-villains who’d rather have it out in online flamewars as opposed to costly, dangerous battles.
Dr. K’s temper is really not suited to suited to such endeavors, however, as he can never just let things stay online… and with the cantankerous old goat paying Maks to literally fight his battles, Maks was doomed to this battle the moment that heroic hater left his snark in the comments section… When the wicked and the wondrous argue like this, there really is no rest for a henchgrpyh…

I’m most pleased to present the follow-up sequence to a delightful commission from last year for my ever-wonderful friend @Nickel-Cat_Engine, starring his returning Hench-Gryph and accompanying villainous master, Dr. Klumpfnacht, as well as a new Hench-Gryph on the block, the equally muscular (and equally fattenable) Royce, sidekick to the heroic Fantastic Mighty Fox! The duo’s bosses are feuding something fierce, a feud which can only be resolved with a good ol’ fashioned hench-off… But can our dutiful henchgryphs survive the belt-busting brawl to come? And who will come out on top - and who’ll be blobbed at the bottom? Stay tuned to find out…!
As with the previous sequence, I absolutely adored this idea and had a splendid time working on it! The cel-shading was fun as always, as were all the silly background gags and comicy things that I included throughout. Royce and Maks pair wonderfully together both personality wise and design-wise, especially as their appetites begin to outpace their muscles… I truly hope you all enjoy this sequence, and a tremendous thank you to Nickel-Cat_Engine for commissioning me on this!
