So a while back, I saw a pic from   MaxDistortion of Shadow riding Kit and Sonic riding Tails, and let's just say that was enough to finally get me to make an IDW-based character!

Dysphox is the son of Hoshi (fomerly known as Shadow) the Hedgehog and Kitsunami the Fennec, and naturally has a bit of both of their powers. With his quills being underdeveloped and his penchant for water control, his dads decided to help him create quills of water. Which also means he's quite flexible with what he can do with his quills~

While helping out with local fires thanks to his powers, his main job and source of entertainment is being a yoga instructor, and he is easily fireproof thanks to how he can morph his quills into a bed or a shield.

Dysphox is also the only character I own thus far to have an underwear version, featuring male-oriented lingerie. I originally wanted to make it his default, but felt he needed something more athletic for his normal wear. So the lingerie stays under the leotard.

While the name sounds like a pun on 'This Fox,' Dysphox actually comes from the word Dysphotic, referring to the area of the ocean that receives very little light, also known as the Twilight Zone of the ocean.
